Field (Organic Farming Process): At DACABET, we prioritize sustainable farming practices. Our organic crops, such as Persian limes and ginger, are grown without synthetic chemicals. We rely on natural fertilizers and crop rotation to maintain soil health, ensuring high-quality produce. Our commitment to the environment helps us meet the USDA’s NOP organic standards, promoting biodiversity and reducing environmental impact.
Pineapple (Piña): Our organic pineapples are grown using eco-friendly methods. We begin by selecting well-drained soils with a pH between 4.5 and 6.5. The planting process involves spacing plants appropriately to optimize sunlight and airflow. Organic compost is applied to nourish the soil, and no synthetic pesticides are used. Regular crop rotation helps maintain soil fertility.
Seedless Persian Lime: We grow seedless Persian limes by selecting the best organic rootstocks. Lime trees thrive in warm climates, and we ensure they receive balanced irrigation. Organic fertilizers, such as composted manure, are used to nourish the trees. Pruning and integrated pest management (IPM) methods help control pests without chemicals.
Ginger: Ginger thrives in well-drained, rich organic soil. We plant ginger rhizomes directly in the soil and mulch heavily to retain moisture. Organic fertilizers are applied during its growth cycle, and the crop is carefully hand-weeded. We use natural methods to prevent diseases like root rot, ensuring the healthiest harvest.
Turmeric (Cúrcuma): Organic turmeric is grown from high-quality rhizomes. After planting in well-drained soil, we apply organic mulch to retain moisture and reduce weeds. Compost and other organic fertilizers are incorporated throughout the growing season. We ensure that our crops follow strict organic standards, allowing for optimal growth and high curcumin content.
These processes are key to producing high-quality organic products that meet U.S. import standards
